Park Avenue CURLS is a fast-growing multicultural salon specializing in textured hair. We pride ourselves on being the “Home of Healthy hair” through our scientific approach to understanding and solving haircare concerns, texture-safe styling techniques, and commitment to offering excellent customer service to every guest. We are offering a there or six-month under the direction of our lead stylist and licensed educator to a qualifying candidate. 

Park Avenue CURLS interns will  

• Assist stylists with daily cosmetology and operational functions. 
• Receive advanced education and professional development training 
• Flexible scheduling -Full-time and Part-time availability
• Education hours for school (if required). 
• Opportunity for immediate job placement upon graduation or successful completion of the internship.

• To have excellent attendance
• Respect for self, stylists, clients, environment, and all guest
• Understand and carry out companies core mission
• Communicate effectively with the schedule coordinator and educator

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a Texas cosmetology program
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A strong work ethic with a passion for serving others
• Teachable 
• Strong interest in styling naturally textured hair

As an intern you will gain the confidence needed to build a successful and sustainable career as a cosmetologist. This is an education-only internship meaning that we do not pay our interns with money, but we do even better and pay with advanced knowledge in a competitive market.
